Drew Biopsy

Hello family,
Here is a short snippet of my biopsy procedure from Monday. Proposed methods for the biopsy included running a catheter through the Jugular and into the Vena Cava. Another was to stick a needle into my back and guide it past vital organs to the Vena Cava. Finally they decided to just stick a needle into my lung and take a sample from one of the lung tumors. The doctor stuck in a hollow needle, then had me hold my breath just the right amount so that the tumor would line up with the needle. Then he scanned me to see how deep the needle was. Then he pushed it in deeper and scanned me again. Finally he had me hold my breath again at just the spot where the tumor and the needle lined up and then pulled a trigger which sent an even smaller needle through the hollow needle to snatch a sample. It left me quite sore but my lung did not collapse and I recovered by the next day.
