klundts are alive and well!

Hey we are posting! Thanks to Drew who cut through some red tape for me. It was fun to FINALLY get all the info you guys have been throwing out. I love the pictures! Well, we're back just in time to announce the latest. No its not a baby, Kevin is our new Bishop. Yes thats right Bishop Klundt is the name. I am so happy that this has come at this point in our lives when I am ready for a new challenge. It seems like everyone I know who has their youngest in school full-time gets an unexpected new responsibility. Since I was expecting it, I guess the Lord sent this one for Kevin.
I think you all know that I am teaching art in Drew's first grade class. This week we are building a gingerbread house for the festival of trees. After discussing ideas with the kids, we decided to make Shreks "swamp" at Christmastime. I took the video to school to show the kids what it looked like and was surprised myself to see what a challenge it would be to recreate. If I could always recognize my jobs as a creative challenge to be met, I would have a lot more fun with life. I am really excited to beat the challenge. Abbey's play "Oliver" opens tonight. It will be nice to have that done. I have been the designated driver for the past few weeks. She is loving it and may be a Drama Queen after all. Thanks so much for your help Drew. I laughed outloud when I read your posts. Are you going to bring your "orphan" to see Oliver?
Goodbye all! love beck
