Hi everyone!
August was just down right crazy at our (in-laws) house (basement)! The kids, of course, have started school and all but Emily are going to the school near our new home which is about 25 mins. away. So, it takes Denise some time just getting them there and back again. But the kids are loving their new school and teachers and are making friends fast. Emily is attending afternoon kindergarten at the school close to where we are now.
Denise, of course, is just ready to be done with this pregnancy. Her feet are swollen, she can't feel her hands, and when she takes the prescribed meds she gets naueated. She is hot (in more ways than one) and feels really big. We were hoping we could talk the doctor into a Sept 28 delivery but he won't do it until Oct 5th. Needless to say, Denise was really bummed about that but she's hanging in there and counting down the days. Perhaps if we could come up with a good girls name that hasn't been taken and doesn't sound like Aly or Emily it would help her get through it. Oh well...
I am 1 week into the Old Testaments and seem to have a really good group of students so far. I decided this year to just jump right in the scriptures rather than talk about rules and play get-to-know-you games. I'm hoping it sets a precedent. Every free moment I have is spent pulling wire at the new house. Things are moving along nicely and we hope to pass our 4-way inspection in early September. That pretty much consumes our lives right now. We'll post pictures soon or do a video tour or something.
We hope all is well everywhere else.
With much love,
Jonathan & Denise & kids
