Sam Houston is with us

Houston is hot and humid but the heat is good for my bad circulation and the humidity is good for my dry cough. Dad and I are in Dr. Burzynski's hands at the moment with something called targeted gene therapy. Whether you are a candidate for this therapy depends on your genes not your type of cancer. Gene therapy is cutting edge and is being used to treat all kinds of things from arthritis to emphysema. The facts are not all in but so far I meet enough of the genetic criteria to begin treatment. I start it tomorrow. It's a combination of pills and infusion but is promised to be non toxic and with little to no side effects. There is a possibility I may develop bad body odor while in therapy so my dating life may wane. The best part is I can continue it from home once I have been prescribed at a stable level. My right ribs are growing very sore from an ever-expanding tumor and hopefully this treatment will put the brakes on that asap. Here's hoping.
