Thank you all!

I'm a little frustrated because i can't get this blog to come up under our name---last time all I got was David Brinley's blog, now I get James and Amanda's. So when you get to the bottom of this and it says posted by James and Amanda, don't believe it.

Now, for the subject at hand. Doug and I enjoyed so much our dinner out with you last week. How fun it is to just hang out with our adult kids and just talk. Thank you all so much for being willing to get baby sitters so we could have this adult time together. Of course the only thing that would have made it better was if Terri and Brian and Dave and Sandy had been with us, but this year we at least had Mandy and that was a bonus.

We are really enjoying having her and the babies here for a month. It makes for a busy household with somebody always hungry or tired or "poopie" but the "C's" are becoming more used to grandma and grandpa and hopefully will let us help them with whatever they need instead of "Mommy do it". Right now they are a little unsure of what's going on but they really like to have grandma look at books with them so I've got an in. I am amazed at her patience and composure with all those little people demanding so much of her at the same time.

I can't even think what we did in January, but it certainly flew by fast. Drew has begun what we hope is his last chemo round today so by the end of February we should be able to talk surgery. We are really looking forward to Spring this year for more reasons than one.
