Well...sounds like I'm the only one not hoping for a long pregnancy here...Let it be known that I will NOT be praying for these babies to stay put longer than need be as some of you are :). Clay and Claire were full size at 38 weeks and with the cord around both their necks, I don't want to stretch things out too long. It gets tight in there! :)
Anyway, yes, James will be gone for some training the last three weeks of October which I'm bummed about since I was hoping to be induced around Oct. 25th. So now, I have to wait most likely until November. As you can see, I'm not expecting them to come on their own just like their siblings were unwilling to do.
Otherwise, we're really doing greatt! I feel smaller this time than with Clay and Claire and the aches and pains have yet to set it, but then, I do still have a couple of months to make up for all that. We are trying to make the switch from crib to bed which is proving to be 1/2 challenge, 1/2 successful. Meaning, they're not both ready to be in a bed together at the same time, so every night one is in the crib and one is in the bed. James hooked up our video camera in their room so I can monitor them on the TV in our bedroom. It's so fun to watch them. It's kinda funny in the mornings that Clay has the bed because he'll wake up and go climb up into the porta crib- waking Claire and beginning to play. They are really cute together.
Meanwhile, it's all about cleaning out and organizing everything for when our family doubles. We have so many clothes that I keep going through them trying to weed them out. It's hard to get rid of things when they are so little and cute! Some friends in the ward are having a diaper & wipes shower for me in a couple of weeks which will be awesome! So, besides saving up for that quad stroller (yes, they make one), I think we're set with everything else! Ah, except for the hired help :).
I've also been scavenging Craigslist for quality toys that can keep the twins busy while I am busy with the other set....this should all be very interesting. Perhaps what will keep them entertained the most will be their new syblings :). They are so cute with babies, that part will be really fun.
Well, all this baby talk...not much else going on, I suppose. We pray for Drew and look forward to all updates. I so enjoyed being at Brinley's wedding- that trip was way to short! Love you all!
