Hi Everyone,
Thanks to everyone for taking the time to blog, it sure is fun reading through everyone's entries and even seeing some pictures or video. The big news from us, I guess, is that Elizabeth is probably coming home this week. The doctors say as soon as she learns to eat she can come home. So far, she is kind of hit and miss with it. Sometimes she nurses really well while at other times she is just too tired to care. She will most definitely come home on Oxygen no matter what, so we're a little worried about that but know everything will be OK.
The house is coming along well. This past weekend it was sheetrocked. So, this week mud and tape goes on as well as the brick and stucco; then I go to work putting in the wood and tile flooring, after that, the finish work (baseboards, door casings, etc.), then we can paint, and then the finish electrical-it ought to be fun. I'll post a picture soon.
In the meantime, we're going a little crazy driving so much out to school, over to the hospital, out to the house, over to Lowes or Home Depot; it just seems like all our time is spent in the car these days. We're anxious to be in our own home, in our own neighborhood, just being our family again.
Katy and I got to go to the BYU Air Force game a couple weeks back. We had such a good time together and even saw Becky and Kevin there celebrating their anniversary. It was a good game and Katy loved watching the cheerleaders and Cougarettes as well as learning the fight song, doing the wave, and yelling "first down" every time the Cougars got one. The boys, of course, were insanely jealous so we felt compelled to pick up a couple of souveneir cups for them which brought showers of praise and adoration. Go Cougs!
Hope all is well everywhere else. Much love,
Jonathan
