Mom&Dad

June for Mom and Dad was full of good news and bad news.
The good news was seeing Millie get baptized on the 2nd.
—the bad news was missing the blessing of Mandy and James’ twins on the 3rd.
The good news was the fun we had with Katy, Hunter, Jacob, and Emily for three days
—the bad news was Jon’s big suburban didn’t quite fit through our garage door.
The good news is Doug and I are still in good health and enjoy each day we can be together
—the bad news is many of our good friends, like JoEllen Taylor are losing their spouses. . The good news is Geri and Ginger and Lynne enjoyed a wonderful sister’s retreat on the Oregon coast (and fulfilled one of Geri’s life long ambitions—to go on a clam dig. It was so-o-o fun!)
---the bad news is I didn’t have all of you there with me. However, I’m planning to remedy that by arranging for us to have a family reunion somewhere there next summer if I can rent a big house on or near the beach. Flying kites on the beach is a big thing there and I’m already starting to collect some really cool ones.
The good news is Mandy and James and the twins are here for a few days.
—there is no bad news.
The good news is Doug and I both had our 50th year high school reunion and enjoyed seeing our old school friends again
.—the bad news is Doug and I both are old enough to have a 50th high school reunion.
We Love you all, Mom and Dad
