Drew

We are shooting our first workout video this Saturday. It is called Strictly Streets and it’s a hip hop themed dance workout. We haven’t really nailed down the concept of how it will look yet, but that should get smoothed out on Tuesday night. The idea is a futuristic kind of DJ lounge. That may or may not come across but I must say that the spirits we hired are well tabernacled so we’ve got that going for us.

This week I went out with a high school Biology teacher. She read on my profile that I like lazy eyes so she wrote me and told me she had a great one. Then she asked me out. I said yes, and she soon confessed that she in fact does not have a lazy eye. But it turned out OK because she actually has a great lisp. We are going out again tonight.

Sunday, mom suggested that I try some kind of healthy chocolate-raspberry synthetic ice cream. I gave it a shot and soon found out that it doesn’t stick to your spoon the way ice cream does. It did however slide down my Sunday shirt and pants fairly well. We tried getting the stains out with mom’s magic soap and some elbow juice but I don’t think David Copperfield could have got these stains out. So we opted for bigger guns….something called the Stainerator. I finished my dinner with no pants and mom went into her laundry workshop. A while later she returned holding one thoroughly washed, stain-free, cell phone.

The home teaching assignments in my ward have received some radical redesign. I have been paired with two sisters, and assigned to home teach another sister and one brother. It beats the old system which consisted of me and a phantom companion trying to visit eight career people spread across the Utah Valley. Anyway, I’m excited to get together with my girls and talk about our lesson plan.
