Well, busy spring for all of us! Cooper just took his ACT and did very well! We are excited about his academic successes. He has been asked to be on a special team of kids next year (only 9 in the school) to compete in Academic Decathalon. This is great because Cooper usually takes a backseat to everything and is happy there and now he can kind of step it up a bit! He is also in a newly formed band and is the guitar player. They are neighborhood boys that have been together since grade school and they are terrific!~ I am not sure who he is channeling to play so well, but it must be a natural talent for him as well. We look forward to their first summer concert down at The Door, a Christian music venue down in Dallas. On another front, Brinley just got a cool 5,000 scholarship for an essay she wrote last fall and is so excited to have some extra spending money for school for this last year!! (yes this is the LAST year of nursing!) I think she could have been a Dr. by now!She will be here for the summer working at the LDS bookstore down by the temple. Josh is in OK city all summer selling Subscriptions for Verizon. He and Brin will get to see eachother a bit since it is a 4 hour drive to OK City. Parker just had a piano recital last night and is coming along great with very difficult pieces. His last finals are this week and then he will be home. He is transferring to University of North Texas for next year on a partial scholarship and wants to finish up there (now a JR) and is thinking of Law School. I just started a new job as the community coordinator for PAX, an academic exchange program for students. I am in charge of placing kids in families locally for the school year who are from over 40 countries. Brian and I loved our exchange students and this should be fun for me networking with the schools and kids and families. Syd & Mads are good, Maverick is so funny and keeps us laughing. Thats it for now~! Thomas family out!!!
