Well here we are in Fall. We've had our first couple of snowstorms already but this week has been nicer. The kids had a great Halloween. They really do it up here in Canada. A huge number of houses have the full decorations going - almost everyone has something up or on the porch.
We are into the Fall sports schedule. Logan's Jr. High volleyball team is doing very well - winning the several tournaments they've competed in. Kallie is on a great basketball team. Tanner will have tryouts for the High School varsity basketball team in the next couple of weeks.
Darin is now in downtown Tokyo - in fact he is assigned to our old Ward, Tokyo First so its been fun for him to see a number of our old friends there. He has a great companion and they are enjoying this period.
The social scene is active. Tanner is spending quite a bit of time with Natasha and (oh yes its true) Logan has been seen on several occasions speaking with a certain Brooke. Lots of Halloween parties over the last couple of days.
Work has been extremely busy - lots of travel coming up. I have to give a presentation to the Shell employees in North and South America tomorrow, then off to London for a speech to the International Oil and Gas Symposium. The Hague a couple of times in March. Good for the air miles though!
Everybody has had their turn in sick bay. Not sure if anybody had THE flu but we all had something. Thousands here are lining up for 6-8 hours for the N1H1 vaccine. Hasn't seemed worth that investment of time yet but we'll see.
Hope everyone else is doing well!
Love Dave and Sandy
