Well, there goes February

Hi family,
Dave, I really enjoyed the pictures you sent and especially seeing Logan dropping the winning bucket. That must have been Sandy's "wahoo" and her upraised hands in the picture, right? would love to have seen Kallie play as well. And Tanner looks pretty serious about getting the ball in the hoop.

Well, our February went pretty fast, though we seemed to get more mileage out of it since we were going night and day. It was so fun, though exhausting, to have Mandy and the babies here for 5 weeks. The "C's" kept us laughing daily. They are really at a fun stage. It is so funny how they just know their own gender and what is expected. Clay carries his cars around everywhere---he doesn't really play with them much, but he has to have them with him always. Claire doesn't give a hoot about cars but she loved arranging the furniture in the little Fisher Price doll house, especially setting up the kitchen table for oatmeal. Whatever the time of day, she seemed to be fixed on oatmeal for that little family. And she repeats everything you say. The "L's" were so sweet and patient and responsive. Luke could lay or sit for long periods of time just looking around looking very contented, but if you put your face in his and spoke and smiled, his little body could hardly contain itself he got so excited. Lily, too. They love to "talk" to anyone who will listen. I especially enjoyed giving them a tubby and watching them kick and splash and relish the water. I loved getting up in the middle of the night to feed whichever one we had in our bedroom closet for the night. It just reminded me how much I enjoyed that quiet, peaceful time alone with each of you at that age. Mandy is absolutely amazing---so patient and calm, even though all four may be crying at once---which did happen occasionally.

Looking forward to upcoming events.

March 20th--dinner and a temple sealing session with family names for all who can join us.

May---Ogden marithon, Doug and I will be there to cheer you on this time.

July 13th-16th--- As you know, we have a houseboat on Lake Powell reserved for July 13-16th. If you want to know more about it, see a picture, get a list of what to bring, get some ideas for on board activities, etc. check out the web sites I've been forwarding to you. This should be a real blast.

November---We have booked the Bear Lake Training Center for Thanksgiving. I think we can check in sometime Wednesday evening and stay until 3:00 Friday afternoon. We are planning a big extended family Thanksgiving up there like we did in Park City a few years ago. It is a wonderful big lodge with dorm rooms and a big kitchen and gathering place. Let me know if you can join us.

Love you all, Mom and Dad
