We had a great Christmas holiday in the States capped off by dropping off Darin at the MTC. It was great - he was ready to go after all the waiting and we are excited to have him start this experience. Loved the time with Grandma, Grandpa and Drew as well as Drew's audio/visual setup which should be counted as a person in its own right. Darin loved his time with his Grandparents - thanks for hosting him. The scooter was a big hit. His MTC address is: Elder Darin C. Brinley, MTC Mailbox #95, JPN-TOK 0317, 2005 N. 900 E. Provo, UT 84604-1793. He'll be there until March 17.
We spent most of Christmas shoveling snow. The measurement in the back yard was about 2.5 - 3 feet. The drifts were much higher. Click here for a funny video of the boys in the snow.
It was also fun to get back home although the -30 deg. reception left something to be desired. It looks like we'll be here in Canada at least one and possibly two more years which will make the boys happy. The day after our return was full of basketball tournaments so we'll be back on the merry go round immediately.
45 - ouch - upcoming colonoscopy - ain't life grand. Sandy and I will be back in May for the Ogden Marathon. We're trying the half this year.
Love Dave and Sandy
