October Rocktober...

Hey Family! Wow, Halloween came and went and the kids had a great time, Maddie as Avril Lavine, girl rocker, and Syd as a High School Musical Cheerleader. But the scariest thing that happened this month was the Bishop putting me in charge of the Roadshow!! Good Grief!! I got assigned two helpers and they immediately left town and are not due back until the middle of next week! Okay, so I was handed a script which helps but I have been painting sets and singing songs and sweet talking the youth for a week! Two more weeks to go... Feel better about your calling now? My softball team with Maddie is headed for playoffs this week which is cool, we lost in a close one yesterday right before the BYU game, Maddie pitched all 4 innings and did a beautiful job. BUT that gives us a seed spot that allows us to skip Sunday play...whew! That constant lesson that good things can come out of bad. Brian and I dreamed of where we were last Oct. on Halloween night at the haunted lighthouse, but as we reminisced, a show came on about that very light house and its ghosts so that was cool! Maddie took 3rd place in the history fair doing a project about Pete Maravich, basketball star and Cooper is ALL DONE WITH MARCHING BAND!! YEA! We may actually may get some family time now....which started last night by going to see High School Musical which was awesome!!! We had a great time! All I could think about during the show was how my roadshow needed more dancing!!! Hmmm. Choreography not my strongpoint. Oh well, Happy November! Love Texas
