Bionic Father

Friday I snuck into the hospital while Mom was gone to have a new pacemaker generator put in - so I am bionic again. The previous one lasted exactly 7 years (they said it would go 12-14) and this one is supposed to go even longer. Geri was in Plano for the week while Brian and Terri played around on the Oregon coast.
I have had a good time with Deseret Book's Time Out for Couples. I get 35 minutes to 'do my thing' - and am going to do Time Out for Women next year. With the couples, Michael McLain and his wife Lynne are the 'hosts' and they are terrific. Anyway, the program lasts for 3 hours with a break for them to peruse the Deseret Book area. The next day they have had Time Out for Mothers & Daughters - which was hosted by Hilary Weeks, Jen Frogley, John Hilton III - a really nice program. Time Out for Women next year (April, May) is in Toronto, Florida, and Boise.
Friday evening, November 16th, we will be taping/DVD's on marriage at KJZZ studios in Salt Lake. Then Saturday, we will go all day taping. If you'd like to be there as a couple, let me know. When I taught a class in North Salt Lake, I had a number of people sign up to come and be in it.
