August

OK, rolling up our virtual sleeves to try our first blog posting. Great month for us! We worked our tails off getting the Liberty yard back into shape after months of no weeding or watering. Looked good when we left it! We finished up our summertime in Utah with a drive to Seattle to catch the Sun Princess with Mom and Dad. This cruise thing is not bad! Great weather, good food, whales, the works. The kids had a great time and it was fun to share the experience with Mom and Dad. Alaska was just stunning.
After the cruise we drove home through the heart of British Columbia which was also pretty amazing. We felt like we'd hit three of the world's great geographies in the one trip (we'd driven through Glacier National Park on the way down).
As nice as all of that was, it is always great to be home and back to the routines. School starts next week with Darin's senior year, Tanner's 9th grade year, Logan starts Jr. High and Kallie is in 3rd Grade. Football and Basketball start up soon so we say goodbye to life as we knew it and get on the treadmill. Hey while we are trying new things, lets see if I can get a video on here. This is what bubble feeding humpback whales look like!
