June has finally arrived and we have been looking forward to our trip to Utah. After much deliberating, we had to decide that we would not be able to extend our stay in Utah to include the family reunion to Canada- sorry Dave! We would LOVE to see you guys. However, James is already taking two weeks off previous to the family reunion for his cousin/my best friend Erin’s wedding AND the sending off of his parents to Uganda Africa to become the mission president there. You may have read that the previous mission president was killed in a car accident and my in-laws mission call changed from couple missionaries to El Presidente! We’re all very excited for them. We said goodbye at the airport this last Thursday. I hope we can find an opportunity in the next three years to visit them.
Today was the wedding of my best friend, Erin, at the Manti temple. So, this week has been full of wedding stuff which has been fun. James has been playing mom and dad while I run around with the girls. He’s been great! The kids have basically lived in their car seats this week. But our trip has been great as Clay and Claire finally got to meet most of their cousins! We look forward to seeing Terri this week as well before we head back to Tucson. And back to 110+ weather.
Happy 4th of July to you all! This is James’ favorite holiday.
